Qintai Grand Theatre is the premier performing arts venue in Wuhan and one of the leading theatres in Central China. Opened in 2007, the theatre hosts a wide range of world-class productions, including opera, ballet, musicals, symphony concerts, dance performances and drama. Together with the adjacent Qintai Concert Hall, it forms the heart of Wuhan's Qintai Cultural and Arts Center.
Qintai Grand Theatre is the largest and most prestigious performing arts venue in Wuhan, Hubei Province, and one of the most important cultural landmarks in Central China. Located on the scenic shores of Moon Lake (Yuehu Lake), the theatre opened in 2007 as part of the Qintai Cultural and Arts Center, a major complex dedicated to music, theatre and the performing arts.
The theatre features a state-of-the-art Grand Theatre with 1,802 seats and a flexible Multi-function Hall with 360 seats. Designed to international standards, it is equipped to stage large-scale opera productions, classical and contemporary ballet, Broadway and Chinese musicals, symphony concerts, dance dramas, theatrical performances and international touring productions.
