St James's Piccadilly is a historic Anglican church in the heart of London’s West End, located on Piccadilly between Green Park and Piccadilly Circus. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren and consecrated in 1684, it is one of the architect’s finest surviving churches and a Grade I-listed landmark. Despite its central location, the church is set slightly back from the busy thoroughfare, with a peaceful courtyard and garden providing a welcome contrast to the surrounding streets. With its Wren architecture, celebrated Gibbons carvings and longstanding artistic connections, St James’s Church, Piccadilly is a distinctive cultural venue in central London. Its combination of historic surroundings, intimate concerts and an active creative programme makes it an appealing destination for classical music and the wider arts.
