Overview
Exploring a national park is a must when visiting Finland and this authentic nature experience will take you to one of the country’s oldest nature reserves.Your full-day tour leaves from Helsinki and takes you to Liesjärvi National Park. You will escape the city and experience the pristine Taiga forest and its winding trails, you will learn to identify wild foods and lose yourself in the natural wonders of the forest.Every season offers new and curious opportunities to learn about the environment. Spring brings crisp blue skies and icy lakes, in summer you will find juicy blueberries and lush green forests, while autumn is all about wild mushrooms and earthly hues of yellows, oranges and reds shrouding the forest.
Halfway through the tour, you will stop and enjoy a Finnish-style lunch experience within the forest. You will be served wholesome dishes, with a menu that changes according to the season and uses quality and fresh ingredients. Every lunch will be cooked over a campfire and comes with coffee/tea and dessert.
