About
KEVIN RHODES has been associated with the Vienna State Opera as a conductor since 1995.
He studied at Michigan State University and University of Illinois and began his career, which covers the opera, ballet and symphonic repertoires, in 1991, when he was engaged at Stadttheater Basel and then moved on to Deutsche Oper am Rhein. He is musical director of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, the Traverse Symphony Orchestra and the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra in Boston. His manifold commitments as guest conductor include engagements at Staatsoper Berlin, Teatro alla Scala in Milan and Opéra national de Paris.
