RAMIRO MATURANA: baritone Talquino who has conquered the main stages of Chilean opera and now begins to gain ground in the European scene.
Bachelor of Music Interpretation and teaching, mention of Choral and Singing Direction from the University of Talca. He is currently a member of the Academia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy.
In 2013 he received the National Scholarship from the Friends of the Municipal Theater of Santiago Corporation and since that year he has participated as a soloist in "Il Barbiere di Siviglia", "La Traviata", "Romeo et Juliette", "L'Elisir d'amore" "," Lakmé "and" Rusalka ", all productions of the National Opera of Chile. He has also played Don Giovanni, Dancairo in "Carmen", Falke in "El Murciélago" and Barón Douphol in "La Traviata", the last two being TRM productions.
As a soloist she has performed at concerts and recitals at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Carnegie Hall in New York, National Opera Center-NY, Opera Nacional de Chile and Teatro del Lago-Chile.
Among his upcoming commitments are "L'Elisir d'amore" and "Ali Babà and i quaranta ladroni" at the Teatro alla Scala.
